Sometimes things happen to us “out of a clear blue sky.” A few weeks ago a call came to my house asking if I would be willing to do an interview about learning to paint. Such a surprise! The lady was very nice and asked if we could set up an interview so that we did. For over two hours we sat in Patty’s Place restaurant and talked about so many things. We discovered that we had known each other as teenagers through our 4-H experiences.
This week the magazine “Crossroads, embrace the journey” was on the shelves and on the cover was this picture of this writer on one of our painting jaunts.

I feel really blessed to have my work honored in this way. As the article states, “Age is a number. The mind has the real potential for learning at any stage of life.”
