New Year 2026

For the New Year 2026 I am taking a more relaxed view of painting. If you like anything I paint, let me know. I don’t plan to post as much on Facebook.

Eloise, the Biker

This is my attempt at painting our little Eloise (Ellie) who will be two May 11. (She’s a great-granddaughter.) It was a cool spring day on this ride for she is bundled up in her winter attire. She’s quite a biker!! The painting is 11 x 14 in watercolor.

Out My Window This Morning

This was the view from my window this morning. It is the spirea (we called it wedding veil) that we brought from the farm several years ago. It is covering a wagon wheel that was also brought from the farm. There are redbuds blooming in the woods thought the trees are not yet green…just starting to sprout. There are also a couple birds there. One is a robin. This is an 11 x 14 watercolor.

Lottie & Ellie Planting Posies

The great-granddaughters originally were helping their daddy dig for grubs in the yard but for the painting I thought a flower was more appropriate. Their ages are 3 1/2 and almost 2. Love them so much!

Robin

I don’t know whether this is the one or not but a bird has been pecking on the house quite regularly lately. This one is done in watercolor and is 11 x 14.

Easter Bunndy

This watercolor of the Easter Bunny is an 11 x 14. I think he is pretty cute.

Dandelions from the Yard

This is an 11 x 14 acrylic of the dandelions in our yard in March. It is a tie of year when the frost still comes to bite them.
